Two-Day Course on Rhythmic Movements for Early Education
In this engaging two-day course, participants will explore the essentials of rhythmic movements through play. Join us to learn how to effectively introduce rhythmic activities for young children in early education, catering to ages from preschool to grade 3. You will develop the ability to recognize and assess primitive reflexes that influence the motor, emotional, and cognitive growth of preschool and elementary-aged children.
Rhythmic movements and games are specifically tailored to aid in the integration of the following reflexes:
- Moro
- Fear Paralysis
- Tonic Labyrinthine (TLR)
- Landau
- Spinal Galant
- Amphibian
- Babinski
- Hand Grasp
- Symmetrical Tonic Neck Reflex (STNR)
- Asymmetrical Tonic Neck Reflex (ATNR)
This course is led by a BRMT instructor with over 30 years of experience as an elementary teacher, who has successfully applied these techniques in her classroom and private practise as a therapist.
