BRMT Level One: Rhythmic Movement Training and Primitive Reflexes (In Person and Online Option)

Welcome to the Level 1 Blomberg Rhythmic Movement Training (BRMT) workshop—a foundational course designed to equip participants with the essential skills and knowledge needed to understand and integrate primitive reflexes. This comprehensive 16-hour workshop is perfect for educators, therapists, parents, and anyone interested in supporting physical and cognitive development through movement.

What You Will Learn

In this engaging and interactive course, you will:

  1. Understand Primitive Reflexes: Gain insights into the importance of primitive reflexes and their impact on learning, behavior, and development.
  2. Learn Reflex Testing: Discover how to test six key primitive reflexes, including the Tonic Labyrinthine Reflex (TLR), Symmetrical Tonic Neck Reflex (STNR), and Babinski reflex, among others.
  3. Practice Rhythmic Movements: Engage in a series of rhythmic movements designed to help integrate these reflexes, promoting improved muscle tone, attention, impulse control, and overall physical development.
  4. Apply Isometric Pressure Techniques: Master the use of isometric pressure techniques to support reflex integration and enhance brain stimulation.

No previous experience required.

Participants must attend all 16 hours of the course to receive certification.

Online Details

The cost of shipping the manual is included in the price if mailing within Canada. There may be an additional mailing cost if sending outside of CANADA. If taking this course outside of Canada, contact Liz to arrange cost to mail manual to your location info@brmtcanada.com

Participants that attend online are strongly encouraged to have someone to work with during the course time.

Schedule will be given one week prior to the course start date with estimated times for partner work.

Class refund policy

A full refund will be provided if participant cancels prior to 14 days before the start of a course, minus a 5% processing fee. If a participant cancels between 8-13 days before the start of the class, they will forfeit their $100 deposit. Their remaining balance can be put towards a future class or be refunded. Any cancellations made within 7 days of the start of a course are non-refundable, but tuition may be put towards a future class on a case-by-case basis at the instructor’s discretion.
