BRMT Level Three: Rhythmic Movement Training and Primitive Reflexes (In Person)
This course addresses how our reading and writing skills are directly related to the integration of specific primitive reflexes. Reformulated together with the most prominent optometrists in Spain, Dr. Harald Blomberg brought us an innovative vision of rhythmic movements accompanied with specific visual exercises.
During this 16 hour course, participants will:
- Learn to observe and evaluate visual disorders
- Understand how reading and writing challenges may be due to retained or unintegrated primitive reflexes
- Discover how a movement challenge is related to a vision challenge
- Examine theories about the causes of dyslexia
- Explore valuable exercises and technique to integrate primitive reflexes and improve reading and writing skills
- Learn how to test for the following primitive reflexes:
- Asymmetric Tonic Neck Reflex (ATNR)
- Palmar/Babkin Reflex
- Plantar Reflex
- Rooting Reflex
- Hand Grasp and Hand Pulling Reflex
- Tonic Labyrinthine Reflex (TLR)
- Symmetrical Tonic Neck Reflex (STNR)
- Fear Paralysis
- Moro Reflex
